Shannon
What job will I get with an Associates Degree in Early Childhood?
Asked by Shannon
Is this a good, solid occupation to go into? I know daycares are all over, but I especially need to think in terms of gaining employment upon graduation as well as pay. I had trouble finding anything at the BLS site other than Infant/Preschool Teacher and they make next to nothing.

Not with an associates degree. You'll get very low pay, and not many opportunities are out there for people with just A.A's in ECE. Transfer out of CC to get your Bachelors. Early Childhood education, and teachers in general make very low salaries. They do it for the love of the children, not the pay.
