Responsibilities include: Direct interaction with research subjects including screening potential subjects by phone; coordinating and scheduling all subject visits; contacting subjects to remind them of subject visits; educating subjects about study procedures; managing study visits including taking vital signs; reviewing medical records for study; interviewing subjects to document study compliance and review medical events which occurred while on study. Completing questionnaires for site assessment; regulatory document management; IRB submission; developing recruitment materials; attending investigator meeting and initiation visits; serving as a liaison for contract and budget negotiations; setting up necessary accounts; coordinating with lab and pharmacy; ordering needed supplies; and setting up source documents. Coordination of individual trials including CRF completion; scheduling monitoring visits and responding to questions; filing SAE reports; responding to queries; randomizing subjects; drug dispensation; study log maintenance; ongoing IRB correspondence including revisions, renewals, notes to file, and AE reports; and contacting FDA on physician sponsored studies.
