NO!!!!! LOL
Dress well no matter what. Show the employer the respect and also how do you know that when you show up so well dressed, the V.P might be around and ask, Why are you so dressed up for, and look at your resume and offer you another position. You never know who will be around, always look your best. at all times! =)

Of course not! You are applying for a "loss prevention associate" position, which doesn't sound like you'll be rounding up carts in the parking lot. Why not dress as if you were going to an interview for an even higher position, if that's where you hope to end up?

Its not bad, its never bad. Its only bad, in my opinion, to do that if you apply for a cleaner position. It is the only job I can think of that doesn't require you to put on a tie. It is never bad for the interviewer but I feel if you do that then it saying to yourself that this is the best I can be.
Its all a matter of your personal opinion. I really don't think the employer gives a toss so long as you are dressed nicely.
