Layton B
Desk job for the state or family masonry business?
Asked by Layton B
You are a 27 year old male with a decent job in Human Resource Management for the State. It's a desk job has good benefits and upward mobility but you get bored sometimes. You don't mind it TOO much MOST of the time but you feel that it can be unfulfilling at times. You COULD work for your dad laying brick and learn the business. What would you do? Use that college degree and work a safe boring desk job with a guaranteed pension or work hard manual labor for the eventual day that you own the lucrative small to medium size family business?

If you're interested in the family business then go for it. But either way, these are not your only two options. It's your life; live it.
