Is it ok for teens to work with restaurant ovens?
Asked by taniaess
My 17 year old (a retail cashier worker who has been working in the restaurant area the past week) was burned on her hand at work and they did nothing. Then we went to the hospital and the hospital did nothing. Is this ok? Or is it nothing to be worried about?

Best Answer:
obviously she wasn't burned too bad if the hospital didn't do anything working around anything hot brings with it the possibility of getting burned--if you don't want to risk that make her quit or find a different job where there's not a possibility of getting burned...
