How much does an in home child daycare helper get paid?

A neighbor wants me to help her out with her in home daycare but she is asking me to tell her how much i would charge.... Does anyone know? I need some suggestions.. or any reasonable pay rate.. thanks... =]

Well, go for above minimum wage - which is almost 8bucks an hour. It really depends on what you need, what she needs you to do, how many kids etc. Try calling a local day care and ask if they are hiring and what they pay...use that as a guide.
