Certified Nursing Assistant pay scale NY?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that for New York-White Plains-Wayne, NY-NJ Metro Division that the Hourly Mean Wage is $15.29 and that the Annual Mean Wage is $31,790 for a certified nursing assistant. How many people find that to be accurate? It seems a little high.
