Where can I find a job in medical transcription?
Asked by xfantasyrosex
I graduated with an associate's degree in medical office technology management and took classes like medical billing and coding, medical transcription, typing, medical document processing, medical terminology etc. I am also 2 semesters away from graduating nursing school. I am great with computers and type over 80 wpm. however, i can't find a job in medical transcription and that was my goal upon prior graduation. anyone have any ideas where i can find a medical transcription job or somewhere i can start?

If your area hospitals aren't hiring, I would look into employment agencies. We have a couple in my city that do just health care placement, or just office type work... I have seen transcription opportunities there.

Medical transcription jobs are found on the website below. Some are remote, some are in-house. There's a catch-22 regarding no experience, no job... but it's not insurmountable!
