I have a job interview tommorow and the open position is a customer service rep/merchandiser. I just want to know the main duties of that job, so I can be prepared for the interview.

In my experience a customer service rep will answer the customer's question about a product or service he or she is either calling about or asking in person. It is your job to be as familiar with the product or service you can be to answer their questions to the best of your ability under the guidlines given you by your company or trainer. I have worked as a call center manager and we always trained our reps and gave them a script to use. I hope this has been helpful to you.
