What are the hours for a 911 dispatcher?

Just curious. What are the common hours for a 24/7 emergency call center?

It depends on the agency. I was one for 12 years and I worked the midnight shift. It just various. I also worked 8 hours 5 days a week. The people who are last hired get the worst hours usually nights.

i think that its 12 hour shifts... however, i think you can either choose to work during the day or at night. hope this helps
