How can a school bus driver be a full time job?
Asked by cntrft761
I've seen ads in the paper for full time school bus drivers. Other than driving kids to and from school, what else are they doing that constitutes being full time? The only things I can think of is field trips and driving the athletic teams to different schools. Is that it? Someone who has had experience please fill me in. Thanks

Best Answer:
When not driving the bus they do minor repairs, wash and vacuuming and sometimes work in maintenance shops repairing broken desks among other things.

A:
That driver gets the long hauls. Could involve transporting children to specialized schools.
