Do you have to have experience to work in the bakery at COSTCO?

I would assumed that you would need experience. Experience helps, and it gets you a higher rate of play. As a baker, you would need knowledge of making bread from scratch, unless they get the bread pre-made, and then all you would have to do is bake the bread in the oven. Same deal with pies, unless they're pre-made. Now, i know for a fact that you need experience as a meat cutter, or as i called them, Butchers. You would have to know how to trim a tenderloin. Once you trim it, you start cutting them into fillets( this is where you get your Fillet Mignon from). You would have to know to cut the chain off the prime rib, and get your cuts for rib eyes. I know all about this, because i served time in Culinary School, and i was taught all of this. I save my scraps to make my beef stock for my sauces. Like i said earlier, expereince pays off. It depends on the job you are doing. If you are a cake decorator, yes you need experience. If you are cutting meat, yes you need experience.
