What professional careers are similar to being on student council?

Help! I'm having a life crisis! By June 2009, I will have 2 university degrees under my belt -- and they have nothing to do with what I've figured out I want to do with my life. I've realized that what I most enjoyed about university was being on student council -- I loved the organizing, the social aspect (working as a team) and having the ability to be creative. If student council paid, I would do that for life! But unfortunately, it doesn't. What are professional careers that are similar to being on student council?
