how much are salaries in Oman ? How is the life quality in Oman?

hi every body, i am an electrical engineer. i have a job proposal as a technical manager in a factory in Muscat. They offered 800 rial omani monthly and home is provided by company. i don't know any thing about oman, appreciate if give me useful information.is it a good salary in Muscat or not? best regards

Well 800 Rials Are Good, You Can Live A Great Life Here At Oman, The Rent Will Be Around 300,, Food 5rials A Day ! A Used Car Is About 500-1000 Rials,, 2 months and You will Have Your Own Car !

I lived with a guy from Oman a while back, apparently its not that dissimilar to any other developed Middle-eastern country. It does apparently still have a big divide between rich and poor, but I have heard that the pay for those with degrees is meant to be reasonably high. Not entirely sure though, research and asking around would be your best bet.
