When I started as an admin in the hospital, I found that my Dorland's Medical Dictionary was my best friend. I keep it in my office within reach. Now days, there are many websites that would help. Be sure to bookmark a few for quick references. http://www.medterms.com/script/main/hp.asp http://www.universalclass.com/i/crn/30445.htm http://www.free-ed.net/free-ed/HealthCare/MedTerm-v02.asp

Taber's medical encyclopedia. It's small and informative.
