at what age must you be to work at a hotel? what positions could you do at age 17 and a male.?

There are some hotels that you can be a houskeeper starting at sixteen. Other than that, by law you have to be eighteen to work in the hotel industry.
I work at two hotels called Extended Stay America and Homestead.

you could be a valet, a room service host, a cook, a bell boy (luggage taker), and even a maid! Nothing involving the front desk because of liability with taking payments.

In the UK, you can get a waitressing job in the hotel's food service sector at 14 years old. You can cleaning service and secretary job and managers etc.. at 16 or older. Although the manager one will require experience there lol :) Hope this helpsss :]x

It is usually between the age of 16-18 depending on the stars and the quality of the hotel that you're working at. It also will depend on which state or province you're in. Most of these type of jobs will either be as cleaners, or bell hops.
