what are the steps needed to get a masters plumbers license in NJ?

I have been hearing mixed things from many different people telling me that i have to go to a tech school and work for a plumber etc. I just wanted to know what I need to do to get the license? PLEASE HELP!!!

It should be the same as most states, get basic schooling - hired as apprentice, work up to journeyman then to master plumber
