Is it legal for a pharmacist to project your future medicine expenses?

My attorney wants my pharmacist to project how much I will spend on medicines in the future. I think this is ridiculous. . .

Yes it's perfectly legal and in medical lawsuits where a cash settlement is being pursued, it's fairly important
