Im not quite sure what you are asking, but in commercial work there is generally no importance placed on an "ironworkers liscence" which is accually an "ironworker state journymans paper". Most companies will be asking for a structural welder, and assume that you can put a bolt in a hole, or use a spud wrench. However, in some industries/states the journeymans paper or a nccer card is highly preffered. Any way you put it, some training is ussually needed, if thats what you are asking. and I am assuming that by "ironworker", you mean a structural steel worker, bridge connector, or something along those lines.
I am an ironworker
