%%%%%%%% Am i getting fooled , what would you do if you where in my place?
Asked by Endless moon
hey there, i am a network engineer , it has been 6 month since i joined a my company for the first time, and all what i was working on is a technician level stuff , like cabling , mounting devices , and checking on subcontractors work , where i should be working on is studying more , designing networks , and configuring routers . Everybody (my colleages ) didn't accept working on this project (because it is a technical physical dumb hard work) , i was new so i wanted to prove myself. my colleagues keep telling me that i am being fooled , and that i wont get any benefit from this . btw in my company you get raised for every certificate u have , and i am a project finalizer whatever i get i finish it well done (i got recommendation that prove that) and got no time to study. what made me realise that i might be getting fooled of is that the relative of the PM got a bonus and a raise , and all the times , he was doing nothing , just playing games , studying and slowly working ( he took 1 day to install 1 access point in a reachable place). FOR THOSE who had similar experience i need your answer. what would you do if you in this case, in order to get some financial benifits???

ya but this isn't his first company..... and managing sucks in the country he's in

You should look for a new job at a company that is better managed. Usually moving to a new company will provide a larger increase in pay than staying with the same company and waiting for a raise.
