Being a United States Teacher, and moving to Canada to pursue my career?

I want to move to canada to be a elementary school teacher, after i finish getting my bachelors here in america. Is it possible to move to canada and be a teacher there? If so want are the procedures, I must go through?

you better contact the dept of education or whatever it's called there in teh Province you plan to settle in - who knows what extra education or otehr things you'll have to do to be eligible - you may not even be allowed to move there if you don;t have pre-arranged employment - I have heard people say that about Canada - they don;t want to have to support additional unemployed people
