odd jobs for the summer idea?
Asked by ....__<>__....
hello, I am a 17 year old and have been brainstorming ideas to make money this summer. I have a part time job at a farm just outside my town, as well as connections with a couple other places in town. I was also thinking that I could put up some flyers about things such as baby sitting, dog walking, yard work, weeding, farm hand, house cleaning, painting, and tutoring. If you have any other ideas that would be great. My dad also has a few jobs I can do around the farm, and I was consitering a paper route, but I am not sure if I can make enough money with that. I am looking more for odd jobs or extremely flexible jobs that will work around my busy schedule. Any ideas are welcome. I live in a small city of 4000 people in southern BC with a large surrounding area of farms.

I have the exact same problem you have. My town has around 12000 people and its in TX so its like really country. You sound like you live in that kind of area too. Well If you have boutiques in your town you might go in there and see those necklaces with all the cute beads and charms and those are so easy to make and they sell anywhere from $25-50 a piece. I'm not sure if thats something that you would be interested in, but if not go ahead and put those flyers up. But those necklaces sell really easy so you could make alot of money fast

:D Learn how to drive. Learn how to operate a farming machine. That would eventually lead you to a better position.
