Should you enter a job field where there are parts of it that you know very little about?
Asked by Sibol
I want to apply for an internship that has to do with real estate, construction management, and financing in Urban Planning for a nonprofit housing development corporation in Los Angeles. I study Urban Planning, Criminology, and Sociology, and Minoring in Spanish, I've been around sports all my life, I like to travel, and learn the basics to computer programs...think I can pick this up as another tool? Would you?

sure, go ahead and apply for the internship. you should be able to pick up what you don't know. if they don't feel like you can do it, they will get someone else. it would give you valuable experience that would help you in a number of different careers.
