Question for Medical Lab Technicians and/or Technologists?

Do you spend most of the day in the lab on your feet, sitting, or both? I'm interested in taking classes to become an MLT but I have foot problems. Don't know if the job would require too much time on my feet. Thanks

I spend more of my day sitting than standing or walking (in Microbiology) but it varies from one department to another. You may be required to spend more time on your feet in departments that are more automated like chemistry and hematology. Regardless, there will be some amount of walking and standing.
