To be an emergency dispatcher do you have be bilingual?

I was just curious and wanted to know. Like if you live in San Antonio, Texas as opposed to somewhere else if it would it be considered a priority.

The answer is NO unless the employer requests that you be bi-lingual. If you are bi-lingual then do not let the employer pay you the same as those who are not. Bi-lingual employees are always paid more in most industries.
