Should I put my parents as references for my babysitting job?

I need to put references for my babysitting job and the only people I have ever babysat for is my parents.

Not really. Mention that you've watched your younger siblings, but include references of other people who can vouch for your character and honesty. This might include teachers in school as well as people from your church.

People usually do not accept relatives as a reference.

Try not to use parents as they have the same name as you, have you got a good friend who has brothers or sisters, use them or there parents, and if they don't just ask them if you could use them anyway. How about grandparents from your mothers side, they could always pretend that you've looked after there "other" grandchildren

i would try not to. i agree mention it but don't use them as an exact reference. if you dont have any experience, try using neighbors or friends that have kids who maybe you have played with before. good luck!
