All I know is about loggers. It depends on what they do, how they it. My dad was a contract thinner. That is he worked for a mill that would have him go in and "thin" out the trees. he looked for sick, dying trees or for trees that may not have a chance to survive long. He earned about $15 an hour or so. He also did horse logging. I don't know how much he earned there but that is where they used big Clydesdale horses to help move the logs. He also worked with a logging company bumping knots. That is where he would go down the log after it fell (being cut down) and with a chain saw cut off the limbs. I think he earned about $10-20 an hour. Now mind you that is about then to fifteen years ago and in a small community so the salaries are different now, and could be different from larger areas. (By small I mean the whole county has 7,000 people in it.) I can tell you with some of the jobs like the couriers, drives, and massage therapists get tips and those dependent on who is tipping, how long the job took, etc.
