Can I get a job as an accoutant or bookkeeper?

I don't have my degree, as of yet, but I am taking one of the four accounting courses required to obtain a degree in accounting. Just need to know if I could get a job, not as an accountant but as something pertaining to the profession. Maybe as help to the accountant? Is Financial accounting enough to land a job in the profession? I've made a mistake. It's five accounting courses. Also, I'm obtaining my Associate's degree so, of course it would be more than four (five) courses if you have a higher degree.

Um I have an accounting degree and it was alot more than 4 accounting courses. So no, you probably cannot get a job in the field by taking one measly accounting course.

I am looking for the same thing, and nothing jet. Have or not degree if you do not have experience or good knowledge of Quick-books is hard. Unless you have some good friends that may refer you somewhere. Good luck!
