Check with equipment rental or sales companies. There are several around Orlando. They should be able to point you in the right direction. There is also a large Publix distribution center near Orlando. They may also be able to help since they use forklift operators. As far as salary is concerned, I would expect you would start somewhere around $8-10/hr. Some of the union employers such as Publix may start people at a little higher salary. Your state employment office may also be able to help you find training and a position. I am sure that they have employers who have listings and should be able to give you an idea of starting wages.

Check with you local Goodwill Mgmt Office, they train for fork lift operators for no charge, Idk about finding you employment, but you will be certified. Here in central Illinois they do this.

Forklift operators can actually only be "certified" by the company that employs them. Even if you come into the company as a trained forklift operator, the still have to certify you on their hazards and procedures. Lots of places offer training kits for this. Here is one of them: http://www.affordablesafetytraining.com/ckpit.html. You can get online training here: http://www.forklifttech.com/ As for the salary, the average in Orlando right now is about $32,000 a year for a relatively new operator.
