How do I become a crime scene investigator and are there any entry level positions in forensics/crime labs?

I am in school to get a BS in Criminal Justice, but I want to obtain a job working in a crime lab as either a technican or crime scene investigator and want to know the easiest way to do so.

my bro wants to do the same thing and he has to be a police officer for 2 years before he can get a job as a csi but trust me it would be worth it good luck!
