how can someone move from working as a produce clerk in grocery store into computer field?
Asked by iojhyt675
i am almost done from my associate degree in business plus a softwear engineering certificate. and i was curious, i never worked with computer, all my jobs are in grocery retail store, which pays me almost $14, and i think that's why i can't quit my job now. so now i am a night shift full time produce clerk in a grocery store. putting that into my resume wouldn't help me getting into the computer field. what are your suggestion, help.

Although the skill sets required for being a produce clerk aren't the same, you still want to put it on your resume because it shows you are reliable, dependable, and stable. That's what you want to emphasize about that job. Since you're just now graduating of course you're not going to have experience in your field. Keep your job, but emphasize ALL your positives. Good luck!
