Asked by SKIER_4_LIFE
i really want to have a good paying career that involves cars. ive just been stuck on the question because i cant figure out wat exactly i want to do. i originally wanted to go into car design but i dont think a job is guaranteed after college and i want to start working as soon as i get out of college! i also like automotive journalism, but like designing, its a rare job as well.... i just want a career that i would love doing, but also have the financial security i want and need.. if it is possible, can anyone just list automotive careers that best fit... i love anything that has to do with cars and performance, structure, design, development... im just not too much into mechanical stuff...and i do not want to be a mechanic or anything related to that..... im real dream is to be successful in the automotive industry and i really am hoping to find sumthing that will fit my standards.... can anyone help??
i also love researching cars, i know every make and model of every car out there. any suggestions are welcome.. as long as its in the automotive industry... like automotive design, automotive journalism, testing, crash testing, automotive safety.. anything... i just need help finding the perfect career...

sure... you sound like you want nothing to do with the running of a car and therefore will fail like GM... the truth hurts!
unless the designers of the body or suspension cares enough to care about the mechanical stuff; the company will fail. GM makes a nice looking car; all in all a pieces of plastic crap. with a horrible transmission and a even worse pieces of crap motors made of aluminum...
I suggest you start by working as an entry level person in a car industry so you can find the actual problems you need to fix.
You should design the assembly lines for them... add extra check points for safety...
