Can you start work as soon as you receive your national insurance number at 15?

Ive just left school and i want a job for the summer but my birthday is not till august. Ive already received my national insurance

Your national insurance? Where do you live?

A:
You can legally work from 13 years old. There are just more restrictions until your 16th birthday. And other restrictions til your 18th too. Seeing as how you have finished full time Ed then if an employer will take you on, well done on deciding to get a job instead of claiming dole and good luck to you!

yep, but good luck finding a job as many people with a lot of experience are finding it hard to get a job these days so im not sure how much luck youll have being a school leaver and all.
