What to wear to a job interview at a pet hotel?
Asked by cieuxdelustre
I have an interview at a pet hotel (they have daycare, grooming, and boarding for dogs and cats) and I'm completely unsure of what to wear. The place is pretty informal - the uniform seems to be a t-shirt (provided by them), khakis, and sneakers. The people I've asked thus far seem to think that just a "non-obnoxious" t-shirt and jeans with clean sneakers would suffice, but I'm not entirely sure. I've also been told by some people that I've asked that nice flip-flops would be acceptable.

Hey, Trust me, I've been there before. I was going to a job interview at Cub Foods and I said, heck I'll just wear a t-shirt, khakis, and flip-flops to the job interview but my boyfriend said no. He told me that I needed to dress for success and to be confident in myself whether it was Cub Foods or not. So I dressed up in my nicest outfit and tried to be as formal as possible in such an informal store. And they ended up promoting me to manager within the first two weeks saying I was just right for the job because I was well dressed and very responsible. So if I were you I would show them your best and what you deserve and I bet they'll give you what you deserve for going above and beyond their expectations. Good luck with the job! -Brie P.S. tell me how the job interview goes! (you'd better) :D
