What professional associations are best?

I want to consult in the following areas: 1) Provide training to troubleshoot electronic boards. 2) Provide training to maximize profits by decreasing production test costs. 3) Provide data analysis software. My target market is high tech industry. Especially those who manufacture electronic chips or boards I'm looking for a professional association. I had been a member of ICCA (Independent Computer Consulting Association). I'm looking at IEEE as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Being active in one of the IEEE local societies is a good way to make contacts. But you have to be active, just going to dinners does not cut it. Former IEEE member
