Hi. I'm writing a resume and am having a hard time describing my job duties as a cleaning lady for a small business.

Don't try to sugar coat it by making "cleaning lady" appear professional. It's not a professional job and people know it. You just need to sound like a professional person in the sense that you can communicate well. Just list your job duties. This will show the person who reads your resume that you understood the importance, function, breadth and responsibilities of your job.
