Does the job of business development manager have career scope in advertising field in india?

I have got a job offer as business development manager in an advertising company, but the MD has mentioned that if targets not met there will be penalty pinch, that is deduction in the fixed salary as well and if met more and above the target twice the salary amount will be paid, should i take up this job?

Hello Dil, Good luck to you! I can imagine it must be a tough choice to make. If you already have a payed job that pays more then the fixed salary minus penalty pinch I'd say think twice about it. I'm sure there is a good reason why they have this penalty. If advertising is your thing you may want to think about getting an online business as a second income to back you up. You don't have to limit yourself to India but can advertise worldwide and build up a genuine monthly returning income without having fixed hours. hey, I've been a BDM for a company in Chandigarh for over an year now. This is the least that the Md will be doing, trust me , i've been given the pink slip twice in 15 months. It's hard to meet the targets, if you can just get away with a deduction is salary, TAKE my word, go for the job. Best of luck !
