Does recruiter help foreign worker apply for necessary changes in employment pass (such as changes in company he works) ?

From my experience, if a foreign worker holding on to an employment pass needs to switch company he will need to cancel his current employment pass with the company and at the same time apply for EPEC. With this EPEC, upon getting the job, the worker can convert into employment pass. Do take note that the duration of this process can last from 1 week to a few months depending on the industry he is working.
