I am looking for a sales assistant so here is what I would ask you: How many salespeople did you support? What programs did you use? Do you use a contact manager? How much outbound calling have you done? Tell me about your toughest service issue you handled? Then the typical... Why did you leave your last job? Tell me your weaknesses? Good luck

Basically, depending on the type of job it is, they will ask what: Are you afraid of heights or ladders? Can you be lively and helpful? Do you like sitting around? Are you forgetful? These are just general questions that an employer needs to know, but if they hire based on your personality then you really never know what they're going to ask. Truthfully if you have an upbeat personality and you generally like helping people.. then you have no problem. I just got hired at Journeys, the skateboarding store and i had my interview short and sweet. But i pretty much got asked questions off the top of her head.
