Is there a good program to learn medical transcription at home using my personal computer?

And after I have that degree, are there REAL possibilities to work from my computer at home? If so, how would I go about finding these at-home opportunities? Would the online program help me find them or would I have to pound the pavement myself and go to doctor's offices, etc. to see if they have anything for at-home medical transcription. Because if it's really just a pipe dream to work from home with this job then I wouldn't want to pursure the degree.

No one i sgoing ot hire you to work at home unless you have a minimum of 1 year of on-the-job experience, though most companies require more than that. Going to an online school that has no major accredications will not get you a job with anyone. Going to a reputable school, like an appropriately accredited communitiy college, may get you a job. The best way is to get a job with a hospital or doctor's office. they will usually require you to work for them for 6 months to a year before they will allow you to go home. And of course not all places will even let you work at home anyway. So nothing is guaranteed, and it's a big risk.
