Are there a lot of jobs out there for a cisco certified individual?

Wow, lot of spambots in this section. Yes, there are lots of jobs out there for us. Networking is a very untapped area, though I will admit that the number of people in it is growing. Now, with that said, if you have the chance to go to school and get a degree in computer science or engineering, do it. You can always get certification after a degree, but not the other way around.
