A good starting point would be civil service. The following OPM link will provide some info.

Other opportunities might exist in companies that do contracting work for the defense department. Boeing, Lockheed Martin, etc. Look up their websites and there should be a link for employment opportunities.

Is it an operations or a maintenance field ?
If it is maintenance then the general electronics training and years of experience will make you desirable to a number of companies that manufacture and/ or service a variety of high tech systems like large scale commercial fire alarm , HVAC or security controllers .
Although you background is not specifically in those , the companies will usually send you to their company school to learn all about their specific systems .
You could also be employed by any of the telecommunications companies who do everything from phone and voice , to data and internet .
Also , banks and other large global businesses hire in house people to care for the systems they own .
Oh, forgot about the power companies / utility operators ,
They offer good $$$$$$ too and again , train you in their specifics .
The hiring departments seem to have a cross reference index for the number code of your job .
One common title is Field Service Engineer .
You should be in high demand if you are maintenance .
good luck

www.usajobs.com is a good start when looking for civil service jobs. Sounds like you may be qualified for the types of jobs at NGA (www.nga.mil).
