Do you think people have better chances of winning there unemployement appeals b/c how bad the economy is?
Asked by Happy Holidayz!
Unemployment rate is the highest its been in 20 yrs. When your job denies you unemployement but then you appeal it, go up against a referee, do you think , b/c how bad the economy is in, you have a good chance the judgement will be in your favor??? I AM JUST CURIOUS ABOUT THIS AND I WANT TO KNOW WHAT OTHERS THINK. Thanks! ;-)

even though the economy is bad the rules for drawing unemployment have not changed. If your employer did not have a valid reason for termination then the ruling will be in your favor. If you quit (without a legitimate reason) or were terminated for workplace violence, threats or something along those lines, unemployment will be denied.
