Can anyone help me out with radiology technician info?
Asked by heather_ernst08
I lately became interested in taking the route to become a radiology technician and I am trying to find where I can accomplish this. My husband is military so we move every couple years...is there a program I can take and still be able to complete it even if I move somewhere else? Is there a place I can do a radiology program online for the most part etc? And is a medical laboratoy technician the same as a radiology technician or different thanks.

The correct title is radiologic technologist. Technician is demeaning. You have to go through an accredited program, which is usually 2 years 40 hours per week, after prerequisites. I don't know if a program will accept you if you didn't start with them at the beginning. You can't learn it online. A lab tech and a rad tech are nothing alike.
