Any advice for a new school bus driver?

i start training tommorow in vermont. Also once i get license what other typesof placescould i pick up shifts. Was thinking the county bus and tour companies

Take your training seriously, especially the defensive driving and safety parts. Check your bus every shift to make sure it is in good repair and all parts are there. Be on time. Dress appropriately. Be nice to the kids and the parents. Don't smoke, drink or take drugs (you will be given drug tests).

You have to keep an ear on students in case they cause trouble on the bus, and you have to keep eyes on the road. Don't look back or stop the bus until the problems get serious.
