Automotive technicians are often hired by shops that provide more services than oil changes, air filter replacements, and other simple maintenance... there are many companies who all are finished automotive course are hired by many companies..they have a good future in their life..An automotive degree will give you the knowledge and experience necessary to quickly climb the ladders in automotive manufacturing...

First of all you have to decide in which area you would like to go - manufacturing or service providers industries?
For manufacturing industries a fresher with some training in automobile domain can, usually, join a company at different level as indicated below (the eligibility is the minimum qualification necessary for that position)
Draftsman - who does the component and assembly drawing),
Eligibility - ITI
Supervisor - who takes care of different production activities in a workshop unit
Eligibility - Diploman
Shop floor engineer - who manages the man and machine resources available for production, plans the production for timely finishing the production target, manages supervisors
Eligibility - Graduate engineer
Process engineer - who plans and decides the methodology and sequential steps for production of a new component or a component already being produced whose design is slightly modified
Eligibility - Graduate engineer
Product design engineer - who designs the product from concept stage and works throughout the entire stage of prototype development
Eligibility - Post-graduate engineer (in exceptional cases, graduate engineers are also eligible)
Deputy manager - who manages the production units and makes decisions, ensures that work is get done by others, prevents any error and if any happens by some mistake then to take necessary actions to avoid a big loss to the company and develop some new methodology to prevent that kind of mistake in future
Eligibility - Post-graduate engineer / MBA
For service providing industries, you can join in either CAD or CAE divisions as engineers.
CAD engineer - who does the machine drawings in computer with some software like CATIA, AUTOCAD, Pro E, etc.
Eligibility - Diploma / Graduate engineer
CAE engineer - who models automobile components and/or whole vehicle and performs FEA, CFD, dynamic and vibration analysis, hand calculations of stress, etc.
Eligibility - Graduate or Post-graduate engineer (Diploma holders are usually eligible ONLY for meshing, a major part of the FEA or CFD activity)
