I will be interviewing for a post of production engineer at a manufacturing company. So i'd like to know the job description of a production engineer

YMMV, but what I did was fix and improve existing mfg lines, worked to install new lines, created manuals and job procedures, worked to reduce product scrap, preventive maintenance plans
former rubber and plastic industrial engineer
