Career Questions and Answers

Cinz
Mechanic Assistant, Apprentice, Trainee, Helper etc.?
Asked by Cinz
Hey I'm 18 and looking for a job in an automotive environment. I need help on how to get involved in this field. I've had no past experience working on cars, but i have to start somewhere right? I'm down for anything, even doing chores or odd jobs around the shop. I just want to get in there with the cars. There is a bunch of auto shops around where I live. Should I just stop by and see if they need help? Or what? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thx :)
