Whats a better path to follow career wise, Electrician or Automotive Technician?

I'm debating to take classes to become an electrician or automotive technician and was wondering which one pays better, I like them both because their hands on but in the long run i would like to know which one really pays better?

Electricians get paid a higher wage. But a mechanic is never out of work.

I think they both have about the same potential. Both can specialize in an area and get paid pretty well.
