what would be the best law enforcement Type job such as a cop, home land sec, boarder patrol, SWAT. as of salary and benefits. Also to get one of these jobs what would be the best MOS in the military. (MP, Infantry, CAV Scout)

Best law enforcement job in terms of salary and benefits? Depends on the agency. Usually Federal law enforcement positions pay more than their local and state counterparts. However, in certain states like California, many police agencies enjoy higher salaries and benefits than the Feds and hence are much harder to join. But in general, Federal law enforcement pay is better than the state and locals. Best MOS in the military? Depends what you want to do. If you want to basically work as a cop in the military, go for MP. If you want to see combat join the infantry. If you want to see combat from a recon mechanized/light armor perspective go for Cavalry Scout.
